A Trip to Fairchild » Rainbow Eucalyptus Trunk
This tree is actually one of the most interesting I’ve seen. As the trunk peels away, the layers underneath are bright green. As the newly exposed areas get old, the color changes from bright green to blue, purple, orange, and finally red.
Seeing again kind of makes me want to get one of my own, but because of the size it grows to I don’t think I’d be able to keep it.
